Late Mrs. Jangmu Sherpa

Mrs. Jangmu Sherpa, mother of Mr. Ang Tshering Sherpa (president of KPHMN), was passed away on 18th of Manshir 2068 (4th December 2011) at the age of 70. She was seriously sick and getting treatment from last three months.

We, KPHMN family, were saddened to hear of his loss. Mrs. Sherpa was a blessing from God. What we are feeling right now is hard to put into words, just want to say, Nothing can replace the loss of a loved one... but, life must go on and sometimes we have to live for other. May god's blessings and memories of their loved one support them forever!

Kushudebu Public Health Mission Nepal has received different tools and utensils used in Health Center as a help from Mr. Roger Lukas and Ms. Ria Lukas from Brisbane, Australia. We, Kushudebu Family, would like to heartily thank to Sam ford Ambulance Brisbane for their help and look forward for continuous help and suggestion. Likewise we would also like to thank for Singapore Airlines for Transportation support of the donated stuffs from Australia to Nepal.

Similarly we would like to Thank Specially to Mr. Roger Lukas and Ms. Ria Lukas for their help while bringing the donated stuffs from Australia to Medical Center and also wish for their successful visit to Nepal. They also had arranged the whole visit of Mr. Ang Tshering Sherpa (President of Kushudebu Public Health Mission Nepal) to Australia for Cliton Global Business Executive Seminar as well as visit to Sam ford Ambulance and Lions Club Brisbane in 2009.



Chiwang Monastery Incinerator Project April 2011 Group

With joint effort of World Expeditions and Kushudebu Public Health Mission Nepal, the incinerator is going to build at Chiwan Monastery of Solukhumbu in this april. Eight tourists from World Expedition are going to participate in the program. All the preparation work for the project has been completed. This is forth Incinerator Project in Solukhumbu area.

It is believed that program will help to bring the awareness in the local of Solukhumbu and also help to preserve the environment of the local areas.

Thirteen members from Friend of Junbesi through World Expeditions are going to visit Medical Center of Kushudebu Public Health Mission Nepal. As per schedule they are conducting three days community project as well. According to which thirteen group members are going to participate in tiling two rooms of the medical center. After completing three days project at medical center the group has program of trekking up to Gokyo Lake which will be lead by the president of Kushudebu Public Health Mission Nepal, Mr. Ang Tshering Sherpa. The group will return back to Kathmandu after successfully completing the Trek.

With help from the “Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology”, Dr. Beau Beza, Ms. Sue Zhang, their colleagues and the Kushudebu Public Health Mission Nepal is planning to construct a new toilet facility for the female students at the “Junbesi High School” (a school originally built through the efforts of Sir Edmund Hillary). Recently, Sue Zhang and the other students from the Nepal Study Tour (see: http://www.rmit.edu.au/browse;ID=ui9zt76mg0jjz) had completed the task of raising funds for the construction of this toilet facility. KPHMN and the “Junbesi High School” family would heartily like to thank Dr. Beau Beza, Ms. Sue Zhang and the other students for their valuable help in the realisation of the girl’s toilet.

Likewise a team of students from the “Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology”, led by Dr. Beza and Ang Tshering Sherpa, is going to participate in the construction of a plantation/nursery for the village of Junbesi and the surrounding communities. This work is to be done in 2012. KPHMN and the locals of Junbesi would also like to thank them for their kind help and would like to encourage others to participate in similar programs for the Junbesi and KPHMN area.
