X-Ray Machine

Kushudebu Public Health Mission Nepal, with the financial help of donars bought the X-Ray Machine, ECG and Oxygen Concentrator. These have now been brought to the Medical Centre with the help of local porters.

The X-ray facility will operate from 9 -11am and in the evening from 4pm. This is when electricity is available in the district. The x-ray equipment is setup in a room by itself.

Local women are a part of the new committee. An application has been forwarded to the Chief District Health Office so that the Medical Centre administration can be approved. The centre will continue to operate in the future run by the local people, and known as KPHMN, aiming to maintain and improve the basic medical facilities available at the centre.

The Medical Centre was visited and inspected by the Chief District Officers on May 8, 2008. Government support has been assured but this will be negligible due to Nepal’s economic and geographic limitations.
